Sheep Art - a Kids painting technique

Levi tried some new painting techniques to create a sheep painting, here is what we did:

1. Cut out some "sheep shaped" bits of paper, get them wet, and stick them to a sheet of paper.

2. Wrap a wooden block with lots of yarn (you could also wrap a few layers of cardboard together)

3. Paint the yarn on one side of the block and use it as a stamp to create a 'grass' like texture, paint all around the 'sheep' shapes.

4. Use a thin brush to paint 4 legs on each sheep (and don't tell him its math when you add up the number of legs!).  Then use thumbprints for sheep heads, and a finger tip to print ears.  You can add flowers with a finger tip as well.

That's it!
