Sea World "Field Trip"

The end of our Under the Sea unit study field trip - Sea World!   We have passes so we've been several times, but they added a sea turtle 3D show that was pretty cool.

Here are some pictures of what we saw:

Shark eggs - they have lights behind them (you push a button to turn it on).  You can see the baby sharks inside moving around!

Shark

They have a chart comparing shark sizes, which is neat because we've done projects like this before, usually measuring tape with chalk, followed by some graphing to compare.

 Sea Turtles

Manatees

Dolphins:

Sea lions and seals.   Do you know how to tell the difference?   Sea lions have 'ears' and seals don't.

Sting Rays

And some non-sea animals:

This guy is just a baby!

Warthog, also a baby!
